Fred & Sara McCall

Fred McCall:

Grew up in Victor, NY, a small village near Rochester, NY. Fred earned a bachelor of Music Education degree from Mars Hill College. A MFA and Master in School Administration from ASU.

Fred married Sara Spicer in 1970; he has a son Paul, and daughter-in-law Laura, who live in Morganton WV.

In addition to music, Fred likes to hunt, fish, and grow flowers. He retired after directing the band at North Wilkes High School, and it foster schools for 33 years. He is currently teaching at Wilkes Community College.

Prior to beginning his ministry at Boonville Baptist Church he served as a deacon and was active in First Baptist Church, North Wilkesboro.

Sara McCall:


Is Fred's wife and Paul's mom.

She has worked for the Yadkin County Schools since 1991.

She graduated from Mars Hill College with a BME, earned a MFA and Ed S in curriculum teaching from ASU.

She and Fred live on Moxley Road, in Traphill NC with Beau and Carley, their labs.

Sara loves to read, cook, travel, and talk.
