Clothing Shed Project

We have a clothing shed located just across the street from our church. People from all over the community donate items and we are paid 4 cents per pound, per load when the shed is completely filled. We use the money received from this project for our Partnership Mission Support.

Donated items ONLY are: Clothing, shoes, belts, purses, linens, blankets, drapes, textiles, etc. We do NOT accept rags, fabric scraps, toys or household goods. NON-clothing items are not accepted. Items MUST be put into plastic bags. This is a great way to recycle your used clothing and textiles. By donating your used clothing into our shed, you will be keeping it out of the solid waste stream and putting it into the hands of people in need. The loads are picked up by FRIENDSHIP USED CLOTHING COLLECTION in Raleigh. Once collected, the clothing is taken back to their warehouse where it is bundled and loaded into shipping containers. It is then sent to needy communities throughout the world, as well as here in the United States. TOGETHER, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
